Bat Trang ceramic village discovery trip

Preface: Bat Trang village, which is located on Red river’s bank – about 13km from Hanoi centre, has been an important ceramic center of Vietnam for centuries. The trip to Bat Trang village not only helps you have more understanding about ceramic production, ceramic art but also brings you to a calm and quiet space where you can discover the beauty of Vietnamese culture and tradition.

Itinerary
9 am: Participants are picked up from the meeting point and travel to the village.
9.45 am – 10.15 am: Visitors will visit a pottery museum to learn about the history, tradition of the village; as well as get to know about how ceramic products are made.
10.15 – 11.15 am: You will attend a ceramic making class.
11.15 am – 12.15 pm: Discover ancient parts of Bat Trang ceramic village.
12.15 – 12.45 pm: Lunch time. You will enjoy the local food.
12.45 – 1.30 pm: You will continue the ceramic making class by decorating your items
1.30 – 2.30 pm: Walk around Bat Trang ceramic market to visit the outstanding gallery and do shopping.
2.30 – 3.15 pm: Travel back to your hotel. Trip finishes.
