“Hanoi and around with Thanh” – ranked 27th on “Trips and things to do in Hanoi” on Tripadvisor – is a tourism start-up focusing on promoting truly authentic, local-based activities in Hanoi and other parts of Vietnam.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ms. Thanh, the start-up founder, set her mind to become an ambassador who could bring foreign visitors to experience Vietnam’s most untouched landscapes and enjoy truly “with local” experiences. Her guests have learned how to cook with local moms, made crafty products with village artisans and helped students practice their English while picking trashes. By joining Thanh’s Zero-Waste trips and activities, guests will not only have vivid memories to take home but also contribute to sustainable development.
